Humanity makes me emotional
AND: Storytime with Civic EQ is back!
Humanity is a big word, but it’s one of the few things that you just know when you see it. When humanity is on display, no matter the form, it always makes me cry.
If you’re still here because this is a Substack about parents relearning civics, I’m really glad you’ve stuck with me. Parenting has its chapters and so does civics, and there are times I’ve needed an escape from both.
Gus is still too young to know what “civics” really means, but he’s not too young to start learning what humanity means. And so while I haven’t been fully ready to get back to “civics” per se, I’m excited to say that we’re bringing back Storytime with Civic EQ in partnership with
